As African-American home school parents we accept the responsibility of being the first steps to nurturing and nourishing well-educated, well-read and well-learned children. We are firm believers in academic wellness and educational excellence from the early stages to adulthood.

Get in on home schooling discussions with families across NC. Join the North Carolina African-American Homeschoolers Yahoo! discussion group to meet other families and to discuss home schooling topics and issues.

From the coast to the mountains, meet families in your area! Post on our regional message board to find families near you. Get together for field trips or educational outings or perhaps even form a group! Currently, there are very few homeschool groups in North Carolina that were formed by African-American families. If you are interested in forming a group, email us at ncaahomeschoolers@yahoo.com and depending upon where you live, we may be able to connect you with other local families.

All families are welcome regardless of race and/or religion. North Carolina African-American Homeschoolers is an inclusive, nonsectarian organization where all families' religions are welcomed and appreciated. NCAAH serves African-American families as well as other diverse families that home school African-American children.
